        Plastic MediaBefore applying the base coat to the floor, thoroughly clean and completely dry the area where you plan to apply the non-skid floor coating. Consult with a coating supplier or manufacturer to ensure that the floor surface is prepared properly. Apply the base coat using either a brush or roller depending upon the size of the floor you are coating and the type of coating being used. While the base coat is still wet, apply the media all over the coated floor. Cast the grit over the entire surface as evenly as possible. The amount of abrasive needed for the project will vary depending on the requirements for the specific application as well as how much anti-slip property is required. Let the media sprinkled base coat dry completely and then apply the top or sealer coat to lock in the abrasive and create the desired non-skid floor. DeckGrip strips come in three colours, stone/black/yellow, and two grades, course and fine. They can be applied to new decking as a preemptive measure, or to existing timber decking that has become dangerously slippery especially when wet. Wet leaves and moss growth can create further hazards that decking strips can mitigate against. They come in three widths 50mm, 90mm and 120mm with chamfered edges. Standard lengths are 1200mm and 2400mm, but can be cut to required size and pre-drilled with holes for fixing. They are easy to install, hard-wearing and come with a 10 year guarantee against breakages.

      ปัญหาที่พบบ่อยๆ จากการใช้เทปติดผิวกันลื่น คือตัวเทปมีผิวบาง ทำให้ผิวเม็ดทรายกันลื่นทำงานได้น้อย อีกทั้งเทปบางไปทำให้หลุดร่อนได้ง่าย อายุการใช้งานน้อย ไม่เหมาะกับพื้นที่ในโรงงาน ที่ต้องใช้งานหนัก เนื่องจากมีรถโฟล์คลิฟท์วิ่งผ่าน หรือมีคนงานทำงานใช้รองเท้าเซฟตี้เดินผ่านบ่อยๆ หรือทำงานในสภาวะที่มีกรดด่าง หรือพื้นผิวแช่น้ำลื่นง่าย


      เทปกันลื่นจะมีคุณสมบัติใช้งานภายใน ถ้าใช้ภายนอกบ่อย ด้วยลักษณะพื้นผิวที่บางเกินไป ทำให้เกิดปัญหา เนื้อผิวหลุดร่อนฉีกขาด ไม่สามารถใช้กันลื่นได้จริง
